I hope you all had a great Christmas. Yesterday was such a busy day. We woke up around 8 o'clock to see what Santa had brought us. Then it was off to my dads and then to Mema's.

Christmas Eve

Tonight we went to Aunt Johni's for our Christmas Eve dinner. We had lots of good food. Here are a couple of pics from tonight at her house.

Every year since we were little Santa has paid us a visit at Aunt Johni's. With Santa's schedule getting busier every year, Big has decided to fill in as his elf.

It has always been a tradition to open at least one present on Christmas Eve. This year we talked Mom into letting us open all the presents under the tree; so tomorrow it's only Santa gifts for us. Here is a picture of the three of us with our hot chocolate!

Now....it's off to bed so we can wake up to see what Santa brings us!

Here is a picture of my Christmas Tree. I am going to be sad when I have to take down all my decorations. I love this time of year when I can just sit in my den with all the lights off except the Christmas lights.

Tonight Brad and I kept Connor for a little while because Stacey and Bryan needed to finish some Christmas shopping. I was excited when Stacey called to ask if we could keep him. 8th Annual Christmas Party

Friday night was our 8th Annual Christmas Party. Elizabeth and I have been doing this party since our Junior year in college. We look forward to this party every year. Friday is the Day!!!

Tomorrow is the day that Elizabeth and I have our Annual Christmas Party. This is our 8th one...Man how time flies. We get so excited this time of year when we know we can have all of our friends together at our party! We used to have it the same night as Steve Hardy's Christmas Party, but it was just too much trying to rush to get to his party. Tomorrow will be a day of shopping for food and then cooking! I am getting so excited!!

100th Post!!!

I can not believe that this is my 100th post. It just seems like yesterday that I started this blog, but it was actually back in February...Almost a year ago! When I first started blogging, I didn't think anyone would ever look at it, and now I have 24 followers. Thanks to all of you for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy it, as much as I enjoy posting things about what is going on in my life. Having this blog has been a great way for me to capture memories instead of making a scrap book....which I am not all that creative to make! Christmas Pictures

Last night we went over to my mom's to take our annual Christmas Card picture. My mom has sent these out since my very first Christmas. I wanted to post each year's Christmas Card on here as a count down to Christmas, but oh well, as you see I didn't.

Taking pictures for our Christmas Card is always a task. Johnathan normally tries to be as funny as possible to make sure we smile nice and pretty. Well, last night was no different. He was saying all kinds of silly things to make us laugh. He was in the best mood last night b/c he got his braces off yesterday. I would say over the last 14 years, there has been at least one of us with braces on. The Flowers children have graduated from the orthodontist....Thank goodness!!!

Here are a couple of the pictures we took last night. We took a total of 40 pictures, so yes, our jaws were hurting from smiling so much!!

Bleeding Purple and Gold

Greenville is bleeding Purple and Gold tonight. This afternoon, the Pirates earned the title of C-USA Champions, for the second year in a row! This is the first time in history that a team has won the championship title back to back. Today's game was so much fun. The atmosphere was incredible! I have never seen the fans so into a game like I did today. Everyone stayed until the end, braving the cold and rain! If you weren't able to attend the game, I hate that you missed it....One word that would describe today's game...Awesome!!!

The Pirates played a great game. The season is not quite over for us. We will see you all in Memphis for the Liberty Bowl on January 2, 2010!!!

Championship Game

Because the Pirates defeated Southern Miss on Saturday, we get to host the C-USA Championship Game this coming Saturday. We will be taking on Houston. This is the first Championship Game I have ever been to. I hope we will have an advantage with it being at ECU. Needless to say Greenville will definitely be purple and gold on Saturday. GO PIRATES!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend

This weekend has been a crazy one. Johnathan closed on his house on Tuesday, and ever since we have been going non stop. Thursday morning we went to my dad's for Thanksgiving lunch. My favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day is rice and gravy, but the gravy has to have eggs in it. If you haven't had this type of gravy, you are sure missing out. After we had Thanksgiving lunch it was time to go to Mema's to meet Mom's side of the family. When I got there Grayson and Briley, my cousins, were having a concert. Grayson was playing the guitar while Briley sang along. They did a great job; even Grayson sang, and I had no clue he could. Their dad started calling them Donny and Marie. Aunt Gail, Lesley, Lindsay, and Brett also joined us for dinner. I should have taken a picture of all of us...but oh well, I forgot!!

Black Friday came way too early. Lesley stayed with me Thursday night and we decided we were going to get up at 2:15 a.m. to go shopping!! We went to Belk to look at some boots she was interested in. Apparently everyone was interested in them because there were tons of people trying them on. We both got some, and we got some for Lindsay too. I believe we went to all stores possible. Needless to say, by 2:00 that afternoon, Taylor was exhausted and was in need of a nap!

Here is a pic of the boots we got. I wore these to church today with a dress, and Brad was calling me Peter Pan. I was thinking they were kinda cute, but if you know Brad...He always has something smart to say!!

Jon and Kate Plus 8

As most of you probably know tonight was the finale of Jon and Kate Plus 8. I am a little sad. I know it's silly, but I really enjoyed watching the show for the last 2 years. You can always find me watching a reality TV show, considering tonight I watched Dancing with the Stars and Jon and Kate Plus 8. Oh well, guess I will have to start watching something else on Monday nights at 9...The Bachelor will be on in January!!!!
