This Past Weekend

Saturday night we cooked out at the Beddards for Bryant's birthday. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, pasta salad, and "No Pudge" brownies...Man all that food was good! Here are some pictures from Saturday night.

Test Drive

Brad takes Jacques with him to work every day. Normally he stays in the back in the fence, but today he decided he would like to be a customer and take a jeep for a test drive... ...No he didn't put the jeep in drive, he's just posing for a quick picture!!

Two Weeks from Today

East Carolina Football Begins!! I am so excited that 2 weeks from today, I will be sitting in Dowdy Ficklin Stadium. Since last football season, they have closed in our stadium. The end zone down by the score board has been enclosed, which will now be the student section. I can hardly wait to see how it looks. Don't worry...I will be taking plenty of pictures. It is time to start thinking about what we will be having at our tailgate. Tune in to ESPN at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 5 to watch the Pirates take on Tulsa!!

Tonight we cooked out at my house to celebrate mom's birthday. Joe cooked pork chops on the grill, and I fixed a potato casserole and a string bean casserole. Of course we had cake for dessert. The food was really good, and as I am typing, I am still full!! Here are some pictures from tonight.

Bunco and Big Brother

So tonight we had Bunco at Julie's house. Julie's theme for the night was Pajama Night. I can't tell you how comfortable it was to play Bunco in our pajamas!! If you know any of us, you would know we didn't play much Bunco for talking, and then look who came to see us...

So how many of you watch Big Brother? I usually do not get into this show, but I have this season. Tonight, I could hardly wait to get home to see if Brendon or Rachel was going to be evicted. I am so glad that Rachel is going home. Have any of you been watching Big Brother? If so, did you want Rachel or Brendon evicted tonight?

Bachelor Pad

So...how many of you watched Bachelor Pad last night?!? I think I am going to be hooked. It was kind of crazy watching everyone being in one house. This show shall be interesting!!

Of course, Tenly is my favorite! I liked Tenly when she was on Jake's season on the Bachelor. I am hoping that her and Kipton get together...I think they would be a cute couple.

The Final Rose

The final rose went to Roberto!

Since the very beginning, I liked Roberto and hoped that she would pick him in the end. Towards the end, I thought Ali and Chris would be a cute couple too. Last night was the first time I wouldn't have been disappointed in whomever she gave her final rose to. As she was letting Chris go a night early, my heart ached for him. I hated that he went home, but yet I was excited she was choosing to be with Roberto. Wonder if they will be the third couple to get married on ABC.
