Paint It Purple!

Well, we can paint this one purple! Today the Pirates defeated Central Florida. It was a nice day for a game. It was cloudy, which kept the temperature down, and the rain held off until the very end of the game. Because we thought it was going to rain, we headed to Wal-mart to get a tent. Well, needless to say, it did serve the purpose, but the cover was too big for the frame.

The tent!

Recipe and Dancing with the Stars

Tonight I cooked a new recipe that I found last week on Kelly's Korner, Show Us Your Life: Favorite Go To Recipe. The recipe is a Mexican Chicken Recipe that Julee from The Turner Family shared. You should try it, especially if you like spicy food. This is actually the picture of the Mexican Chicken from her blog. Visit Julee's blog for the recipe!

Now that Dancing with the Stars is back on for the fall, you know I have been watching it. Tonight they paid tribute to Patrick Swayze. I absolutely love Dirty Dancing, and you know they did the final dance as part of their tribute. They did a great job, it looked as if Johnny and Baby were up there dancing!!

Prayer Request

Please pray for this family. I found this prayer request on Kelly's Korner. A very sad situation, but it does seem that God is providing peace!

Poor Pirates

This afternoon the Pirates took on West Virginia. It was not the best game. We got the L in this one. The game wasn't on TV, it was only on http://www.espn360.com/, so we watched the game at the Beddard house on a projector. I tried to take a picture so you could see what it looked like. Here is a picture, but it's not that clear. It was cool, it took up the wall. Best of luck to the Pirates next week as they take on the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill.
