It's Almost Here!

It's almost here! Elizabeth and Bryan are getting married on Saturday. The festivities begin tomorrow with a Bridesmaids Luncheon, Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner and then a dance. Saturday we are having a breakfast with all the Bridesmaids while all the boys play golf. Then we will all be together when Elizabeth and Bryan meet to say I DO!! I am so excited. I am sure I will have plenty of pictures from the weekend to post, so make sure you look for them!
Just want to wish them the best as they start their new life together as Mr. and Mrs. Radford!

I know, I know...

I know I haven't posted anything on my blog in a while. Things have been crazy. As many of you know, Grandma finally made it home after spending a total of 10 days in the hospital. She seems to be doing well. I guess really well, since she is 82. It would probably take me just as long to recover as it is taking her...and there is quite an age difference between us!

Brad has finally moved in his house. Seems like it took us forever to get all his things moved, but he has been in since Sunday. No one can say just women have lots of clothes, because I moved every piece of clothing the boy owns, and let me just tell you...there were A LOT! Now is the fun part...decorating!!

Elizabeth and Bryan are getting married next weekend. I can not believe how time has flown by. Seems just like yesterday that they were getting engaged. I will definitely have lots of pictures, so make sure you check out my blog.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and sorry it has been so long since I have updated my blog!!

Update

Grandma is out of surgery. Everything went well. She is in recovery, so we are waiting to see her. Thanks for your prayers, but please continue to pray for a speedy recovery. She should be here in PCMH for 5-7 days.

Grandma

Today is Grandma's surgery. They took her back around 6:30, and are scheduled to start surgery around 7:30. Please keep her in your prayers throughout the day. I will keep you updated on her progress!

Girls Weekend!

With Elizabeth's wedding coming up, she has had lots of fun showers. Friday night Heather McDaniel and her mom Mrs. Gail hosted a Lingerie Shower Get-away for Elizabeth. We had so much fun. They had a Lingerie Shower for her, and then we had a Spa night. It was very relaxing! After we ate a delicious meal, we played a game. We had 3 different teams, making a wedding dress out of toilet paper. That was hilarious. Here is a picture of Caroline, Elizabeth, and Katie in their toilet paper wedding dresses!!!

How do you like Elizabeth's present Lingerie?

Hope she can impress Bryan come May 2, with her new lingerie!!

Thanks for such a great night Heather and Mrs. Gail!

Saturday night us girls hung out at my house. We ordered pizza, watched the Carolina game, and played Imaginiff...FUN GAME. You can find it at Toys R Us.

It's always nice to have a girls weekend every now and then. We just need to do it more often!

Tomorrow, my Grandma is having surgery. I ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I'll keep you updated on her!!

"Pray for Beau"

My brother has a friend, Beau, from Georgia who has been diagnosed with cancer. This is such a terrible disease that affects many people today. With loosing an aunt to cancer last June, this is something that we hold dear to our hearts. I would like to ask you all to add Beau and his family to your prayer list. He is a 23 year old, who is fighting a battle, that no one would want to fight. Currently he is in Texas receiving Chemo treatments.

Johnathan has set up a "Pray for Beau" fund at Wachovia to help him and his family during this time. He asked me to inform everyone of this fund, and what better way to do it than to just put it on my blog. The contributions will go towards helping Beau's dad and siblings travel to Texas to see him. Beau is having to travel about an hour a day, between treatments, to the hospital to give them samples of his blood. With gas prices rising, this traveling as become expensive, especially on top of the medical bills. If you feel you would like to contribute to the "Pray for Beau" fund, please contact Johnathan at acejnf@yahoo.com. As always, your prayers are the most helpful. We just pray that God will work a miracle in this situation!

For more information on Beau visit his blog or his website!
