Bachelorette

I haven't blogged too much about The Bachelorette, but what in the world is it with Wes and Justin. Last season it was Wes that wasn't there for the right reason, and now it's Justin. I guess if you want to get your name out there, you have to go on The Bachelor/Bachelorette. For those of you who have watched this season of The Bachelorette, what are your thoughts, and who would you like to see get the final rose?!? Right now my guess is Roberto!!

Sunset Beach

This weekend we went to Sunset Beach with the Beddards, the Meeks and the Radfords. Over the last couple of years, we have done an annual summer trip. We had a lot of fun, and can't wait to do it again. Friday night we went to eat Mexican, which is our favorite! After eating we went to play Putt Putt...which was so much fun. I haven't played in forever so it was nice to do something different. The boys enjoyed it, because it gave them a chance to practice putting before they played golf Saturday morning.

(Please excuse my frizzy hair) Our group Saturday the boys got up super early to go play golf, and us girls slept until 10:30. Sleeping until 10:30 was wonderful...Can't tell you the last time I was able to sleep that late. After getting up and ready, we headed to Cracker Barrell for Breakfast/Lunch and then to the outlets to do a little shopping. Here are some pictures of us at Cracker Barrell.

Katie and Me Saturday night we just went out to eat and came back to the house and chilled. We were all exhausted so we just sat around, watched TV and do what we all do best...run our mouth!!

Stacey, Me, and Elizabeth...being silly Jacques stayed with my Mom and Joe this weekend. We were scared when we got home that he wouldn't listen to anything we said because this is what he was up to this weekend... Laying on the couch, which he isn't allowed to do at my house or Brad's.

We had a great weekend and I hope you all had a great weekend too!

Officially Summer

So...it's officially summer! I love this time of year. This is when I get to go to the beach and work on my tan. Now that Dad has a beach place, I get to go as often as my schedule allows.

I love warm weather, but this is a little too hot for me!!

This is what temp my car was reading this afternoon. Does this mean our summer is going to be really hot?!?

Happy Father's Day

So our Father's Day didn't consist of too much. Yesterday Brad, Jacques and I loaded up and headed to the beach to spend time with my dad for Father's Day. When we got there dad was gone to The Big Rock Weigh-In...yesterday was the last day. Instead of wrapping up his Father's Day gift, I just decided to hang it.

We got him this ECU flag.

Besides hanging out on the beach, all we did was spend time together and watch the US Open...That is all Brad was really interested in doing.

Happy Birthday Allyson Lake

Tonight we cooked out at Mom's for Allyson Lake's birthday. It is hard to believe she is 20 years old today. I can remember dad waking me up at 5:30 am on June 15, 1990, telling me it was time for mom to go to the hospital to have the baby. I was eight years old at the time, so I was able to go to the hospital with them. I was so excited, waiting to find out if I was going to have another little brother or a little sister. Well...it was a girl!!

Today we hosted a Baby Shower for Katie at my mom's house. We had the best time and Katie got lots of cute new things for Anna Kate. Having this shower has got me really excited about meeting Anna Kate...she will be here in about 7 weeks!!

Kate Plus 8

Thought this picture was funny!

Well as you may know, Kate Plus Eight starts tonight. It is going to be a 2 hour season premiere. I am getting excited. When Jon and Kate Plus 8 first came out, I didn't really watch it, but just a couple of years ago, I got hooked. Wonder what the show will be like without Jon. I hate that things ended up the way they did, but it could be the family is much better off with their parents separated.

Guess I will see tonight at 9, eastern time, what the show is all about. Do any of you plan to watch it?
