Florida Marlins

Yesterday was Chris's first day playing in the majors for the Florida Marlins. I wasn't able to get the game on my TV, so I had to watch it from my computer. It was crazy watching him behind the plate playing in the majors. I never would have imagined 15 years ago, that I would be seeing Chris Hatcher, Wiesel, playing major league baseball. It has always been his dream, and it has finally come true!!
Chris...we are so proud of you, and can hardly wait to see you play your next game!!

Dirt Bike Racing

Tonight we went to Kinston to eat at the Pizza Villa. On the way there I was telling Brad that Lane had a dirt bike race at the fair tonight. Brad was interested in going to watch, so we did. Lane has been racing for several years, but this was the first time I had gone to watch. He did a great job! He won his first race, and game in second on his second race. Great job Lane! I didn't take my camera in, but wish I had. Here are a couple of pictures I got off of Lane's facebook of him racing...so you could see why one would be nervous watching.

Lane we loved watching you tonight, even though you about gave me several heart attacks. My nerves can not take all the jumping and sharp turns at such a fast speed. Good job buddy!!

Master Bedroom

Today is Show Us Your Master Bedroom. Around Christmas time last year, I decided I wanted to change my bedroom. I had black and white polka dot material in there. I moved the polka dot in my front bedroom, and decided to go for a more grown up bedroom for me. I absolutely love my bedroom now. The only thing I would change would be to lower my curtains. We hung them in the same place as my other curtains so I wouldn't have to put more holes in my wall, but they need to be touching the floor. Here is my bedroom!!

Fall is Here!

So, today is the first day of fall. Doesn't our 7-day forecast really show fall time weather?!? I do love summer time so I can go to the beach, but I'm ready for the cooler weather. Cooler weather means football season and before we know it...Christmas!!

Dancing with the Stars

Tonight is the first night of Dancing with the Stars. I am excited about the show, but don't really have a favorite. Here are a few I think I might like.

One of my favorite movies is Dirty Dancing, so I have to say that I was excited to see Jennifer on DWTS. You know she has got to be good, since she danced so well on Dirty Dancing.
During the 2008 Presidential Election, I was a fan of Sarah Palin...Guess we will see what Bristol is all about.

I have always watched the reality TV show The Hills. Audrina wasn't my favorite on the show, but it will be interesting to see if she can dance!

Babysitting

Look who I got to babysit last night...Anna Kate!! Bryant sent me a message on Tuesday afternoon, wanting to know if I would watch Anna Kate Wednesday night. Of course, I said yes. He surprised Katie by telling her that Anna Kate was going to stay with me, while he took her out for her birthday. I was so excited they could have a night together, and I could spend some time with Miss Pris!!

Another Win

The Pirates came through with another win today. We played great the first half, and the second half wasn't as good, but we still got the W. Here are some pictures from today.

With today being 9/11, we had a moment of silence in honor of the ones who lost their lives on this day, nine years ago. It's hard to believe it has already been nine years since this tragedy happened. This day is one that will never be forgotten.

My heart goes out to all the families who lost their loved ones on this day. Thanks to all the men and women who are continuing to fight for our freedom. It is my prayer that you will all return home safely soon. We love you Zack, and can't wait for you to come home!!

First Down...Pirates!!!

Well...as you know, today was our first home football game of the 2010 Football Season. I live for this time of year...I love some Pirate Football!!! Today we faced Tulsa, and pulled through with the win, at the last few seconds of the game. Check out ESPN for the final play....awesome!!!

Today was a great day. It was hot, but not too miserable. I can hardly wait until next Saturday when we take on Memphis at noon!!
