St. Patrick's Bunco

Tonight Hope hosted Bunco. She has to be the craziest girl I have ever met...Gotta love her! Her theme for tonight's Bunco was St. Patrick's Day. Everything was green/Irish. For dinner we had fried chicken (which I didn't eat b/c of lent), string bean casserole, potatoes and a biscuit. It was very very good. For dessert we had chocolate cup cakes with green icing. For our drink they were all in a green bottle (Mt. Dew, Sprite, and Green Kool-Aid.) All of the prizes were green. I got the prize for the most wins...I had 15! My prize definitely fit me, since I love getting out in the sun.

Here is my prize!

Tonight is the Night!

Well, tonight is the start of Dancing with the Stars. I am so excited! Just as it is getting dark tonight, there will be something on TV for me to watch. So, I hear the rumor today is that my girl Melissa, from The Bachelor, is taking someones place on Dancing with the Stars. I had already said that I thought my favorite would be Shawn Johnson because I loved watching her during the Olympics, but I think I might have changed my mind. Guess I will just have to wait and see who wins my heart tonight after they dance. Please let me know who your favorite is after watching tonight!!!

Loving the Time Change!

As you know from my earlier post, we watched the Tar Heels this afternoon. We went over to the Meeks's house to watch the game. After the game was over, we had to listen to all the seniors speak! They were all sweet. I loved when Danny Green pleased the crowd by dancing. When Tyler gave his speech, I am sure he melted the hearts of all the girls, until he said thanks to his girlfriend (Cousin, we know he was really talking to you.) He made a sweet speech, and even made Stacey tear up. I sure hope Connor doesn't ever have to make speeches like that, because there is no hope for Stacey!

After all the game festivities, we cooked out...I love it getting dark later. It was a fun time. I gave up fried food and diet drinks for lent, thank goodness Sunday is a day to celebrate. I sure did celebrate eating chips and dip all day! Oh well, back to the real world tomorrow. Hope you all have a great week! GO HEELS!!!

Watch the Heels at 4!

Well, this afternoon will be Tyler's last home game at Carolina. Make sure you pull hard for the Tar Heels today, as they face Duke at 4:00. I know my cousin is sad that this is Tyler's last year, but I am sure he has more playing time in his future!

The Bachelor is officially over...

Last night was the final night of The Bachelor. I am sad that it is over, but Dancing with the Stars starts next Monday. I love this time of year when I have something to watch on TV. I am known for watching just about all of the reality TV shows!!

Well, just in case you didn't watch The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, Part 2 last night, you missed them naming the next Bachelorette. It's Jillian! She was on this season of The Bachelor.

Be sure to watch and see if she finds the man of dreams, starting in May!

THE BACHELOR...

I was on a rollar coaster ride last night as I watched The Bachelor. The whole time I kept saying "he's going to pick Molly isn't he?" I just knew with Melissa's parents not being in the "publicness" of the whole situation, that it would not turn out in her favor, so I had almost convinced myself that he was going to pick Molly over Melissa. Well, if you watched it last night, Melissa was the who received the last rose. I was so excited. She looked so pretty, and I knew this would make her the happiest girl ever.

Jason just had to make me not very happy with him! I told Brad that I love Jason and Melissa just like I do Ryan and Trista; they would stay together forever. Guess I was wrong....I can not believe he hurt my girl, Melissa. I know Molly is on cloud 9 today, after she got the wonderful news last night that Jason is still in love with her. I hope it works out for them, although deep down inside I wish it were Melissa that is with him.

Make sure you watch The Bachelor: After the Rose Ceremony, Part 2 tonight at 10. Gosh...they are keeping me up too late, two nights in a row!

Let me know what your thoughts were on The Bachelor!

Tomorrow is the big day!

Well tomorrow, we will all finally find out who Jason has picked to be his bride! I'm getting excited; I can hardly wait. I am wondering what in the world is going to happen when Deanna comes into the picture. I'm sure she is going to make the decision a lot harder than it really is. Guess we will all find out tomorrow. Let me know who is your pick for Jason!
