Christmas Lights

Tonight us and the Meeks decided we wanted to ride around and look at Christmas lights.  This used to be something my family did every Christmas Eve.  I love riding around this time of year to see how everyone decorates their houses...tonight didn't disappoint me.

Here is a house in Grimesland.
The house had a circular drive-way.  Brad kept telling me to pull in the drive-way and ride around the house.  I got so tickled because I didn't know if he was being serious.  I kept saying, we can not drive in their yard...sure enough we did.  We got behind a car in the drive-way that wanted everyone to get out of the car to look at the lights...I began to get over stimulated and it got very HOT in the car.

Bryan got so hot, he had to remove his shirt...so silly!
After riding around town for a while, we had a man down!
Hope you all have had a great Friday night.  We sure did!!

Busy Few Days

My busy weekend started early Friday morning.  Friday and Saturday morning, mom and I had a Yard Sale.  We did pretty well.  This picture was first thing Friday, and we didn't have this much when we finished on Saturday.  We weren't able to sell everything, so what we had left, we donated to the Salvation Army.
After the Yard Sale it was time to come home to get ready for our 9th Annual Christmas Party.  Elizabeth and I have hosted a Christmas Party since we were in college.  We love to get all of our friends together during the holidays.  Here are quite a few pictures from the party!

Saturday Brad and I had a wedding to go to.  It was a beautiful wedding, especially since they had a winter theme, and after the wedding ceremony, it started snowing.  After the wedding, we went home and were lazy.

Thanksgiving

My grandma fell two weeks ago, and broke her back, so she has been in the hospital/rehab.  Since she was  in rehab Thursday, we had Thanksgiving at my house for my dad's side of the family.  I told her she had to be home by Christmas, because we are supposed to celebrate Holidays at her house, not mine!

As us girls were getting lunch ready, here is what the boys were doing...playing on their phones.  Just as soon as lunch was over, they were back to playing on their phones.  Do they not understand men are welcomed in the kitchen when it's time to help clean?!?!?
After lunch we went to see Grandma.  She is doing really well, and hopes to be coming home sometime next week!  Here is a picture of us Grandchildren after visiting Grandma.
After we had lunch and went to the hospital, we were off to Kinston to have Thanksgiving with mom's side of the family.

It has always been said on the Gray side of the family that you are to share news over a meal, so that is just what Blair did.  Check out her outfit!!

Yes, Blair is going to be a Big Sister.  Lindsay just found out that she is pregnant...with TWINS.  We are all so excited.  Please keep Lindsay and the babies in your prayers as they grow/develop over the next several months.  Her due date is June 5.  Again, we are thrilled and can hardly wait to find out what they are at Christmas.  She finds out December 21, but is waiting to tell us Christmas Day.

Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving.  I sure did, and have so much to be Thankful for!!
