Ok...This is something that I have gotten off of Kelly's Korner. As most of you know I am hooked on her blog. You should check it out sometime. Anyways...I am going to start doing her Show Us Where You Live F-R-I-D-A-Y! The past two weeks she has shown kitchens and living rooms. This week is guest bedroom. I will try to post pictures of these three rooms of my house tomorrow. I wanted to take pictures when the sun was shining. Check out her blog and see all the many different ideas as to how to decorate different rooms in your house!

Bunco

So tonight we had Bunco at Laura's house. It is always so much fun. According to Brad, I must cheat because I always win. Well, I got the most Buncos...which is not normal!!! Laura had a cook-out theme. She had very cute gifts. Here is a picture of the plates I won. Thanks Laura for hosting a great Bunco night!

Believe it or not, Laura said she got these plates from the Dollar Tree!

I am an Aunt!

I know you are curious as to how I am an aunt! Well...Allyson Lake is doing a school project for a Child and Family class. She had to bring home a baby over night. It is computer operated. It does everything a real baby should do. She has to soothe it when it cries, feed it when it's hungry, and change its diaper when it's wet. Here are just a couple of pictures of my nephew!

Happy Mother's Day

This weekend has been busy as we celebrated Mother's Day with all the women on both sides of my family. Saturday, Aunt Gail, Lesley, Lindsay and Brett came to Kinston to see Mema for Mother's Day. We all went out for lunch. For those of you who know me and cousin, you know we had to go to the Pizza Villa....there's no where else in Kinston to eat! Aunt Johni and Grayson also met us there. We had lots of fun talking and joking around!

Saturday night we headed to Trenton to eat with my grandma. Dad cooked us steaks on the grill, I made a potato casserole and string bean casserole, and Annette made a delicious strawberry pie. Needless to say, I left there with a full stomach.

Today, we celebrated with my mom. We went out for lunch at Dragon Fly (Do not go there to eat on Holidays or Special Days because their lunch menu isn't offered!) Brad was not happy about that at all. It will be interesting to see if we go back, if we do, I am sure it will be awhile! Then for supper we met Mema, Big, Aunt Al, and Uncle Ray at Texas Road House. Again, I ate way too much!

Well, this has been my Mother's Day weekend. I hope all you mothers had a wonderful day! Here are a couple of pictures from lunch on Saturday.

Maeve and Thomas

Last night I had the chance to babysit for Maeve and Thomas. It seemed like it had been forever since I had seen them. We had lots of fun playing, watching tv, and eating ice cream. They have grown up so much. It's hard to believe I started babysitting for them when Maeve was 2, she will be 7 in June and Thomas turned 3 in October! Here are just a few pictures of us from last night!

They are officially Mr. & Mrs!

Well, Elizabeth and Bryan got married on Saturday. Everything was beautiful! She could not have asked for a better day. I have not had time to post pictures, so I will try to that tonight. Hope you all are having a great week so far!
