ECU Game

Today the University of Alabama at Birmingham came to ECU. It was a really good game, considering the Pirates pulled off the win. As you can tell from the pictures below it was a little chilly!!! I'm getting a little sad because we only have one more game this season, and that's next weekend. What in the world am I going to do on my Saturdays?!? Here are some pics from today.

Melissa and Me
Dad with his girls
Me and Allyson Lake
Crystal and Johnathan Twins...No not really, they just look a like.
They hate it when you tell them that!

Last year at this time...

This time last year it was snowing here. Now check out how the weather is here this year...in the 60s and raining!

I love the 60-70 degree weather, but when it's almost Thanksgiving and Christmas...it's supposed to be cold. I am hoping that we do have a good snow day or two this winter!!!

We are the Pirates of ECU!

Last night we headed over to the Beddards to cook out and watch the ECU/Tulsa game. We had hamburgers on the grill with french fries and baked beans. The food was really good, too bad I filled up on chips and dip, like normal. After we ate, it was time to cheer on the Pirates. We must have done a good job, since they won 44-17. Here are a couple of pictures.

The Meeks Family Connor must have had a busy day pulling for the Tar Heels and Pirates!

Sorry I didn't get a picture of Brad and me. He was being a nerd and playing on the computer all night!
Thanks Katie and Bryant for having us over!!

Shoe Boxes

Brad and I decided this year to make shoe boxes for the Operation Christmas Child. This was really fun. We both did a box...I did a girl age 2-4, and Brad did a boy age 5-9. I got so much stuff, that it was very hard to get all the things into the shoe box. I hope that when these two children get their shoe boxes that they will be as excited about them as I was putting them together. It is around this time of year that we should truly be thankful for all that we have because there are those who are way less fortunate than we are.

Happy Veterans Day

Thank you to all the men and women who served our Country, and those who continue to serve. We are truly blessed to have these men and women fight for our freedom!

I ask that you keep those who are overseas in your thoughts and prayers, especially during this holiday season, as some of them may not be home to celebrate with their family.
We are praying for you Zack. Hurry home!!!

What I have been up to today!

Yes...This is what I have done all day....CLEAN MY HOUSE. Cleaning is something that I do not get overly excited about.

Now that I have a clean house, it is off to Bible Study, in the pouring down rain. We are starting a new Bible Study tonight, Victoriously Frazzled. I am excited about this study. I have done the first week, and it looks like it's going to be really, really good.

Hope you have had a great Tuesday!
