Championship Game

Because the Pirates defeated Southern Miss on Saturday, we get to host the C-USA Championship Game this coming Saturday. We will be taking on Houston. This is the first Championship Game I have ever been to. I hope we will have an advantage with it being at ECU. Needless to say Greenville will definitely be purple and gold on Saturday. GO PIRATES!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend

This weekend has been a crazy one. Johnathan closed on his house on Tuesday, and ever since we have been going non stop. Thursday morning we went to my dad's for Thanksgiving lunch. My favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day is rice and gravy, but the gravy has to have eggs in it. If you haven't had this type of gravy, you are sure missing out. Here are a couple of pics from our Thanksgiving with Dad.

Us with Dad...He was having a hard time seeing with no sunglasses.
After we had Thanksgiving lunch it was time to go to Mema's to meet Mom's side of the family. When I got there Grayson and Briley, my cousins, were having a concert. Grayson was playing the guitar while Briley sang along. They did a great job; even Grayson sang, and I had no clue he could. Their dad started calling them Donny and Marie. Aunt Gail, Lesley, Lindsay, and Brett also joined us for dinner. I should have taken a picture of all of us...but oh well, I forgot!!
Black Friday came way too early. Lesley stayed with me Thursday night and we decided we were going to get up at 2:15 a.m. to go shopping!! We went to Belk to look at some boots she was interested in. Apparently everyone was interested in them because there were tons of people trying them on. We both got some, and we got some for Lindsay too. I believe we went to all stores possible. Needless to say, by 2:00 that afternoon, Taylor was exhausted and was in need of a nap!
Here is a pic of the boots we got. I wore these to church today with a dress, and Brad was calling me Peter Pan. I was thinking they were kinda cute, but if you know Brad...He always has something smart to say!!

Hope you all had a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Jon and Kate Plus 8

As most of you probably know tonight was the finale of Jon and Kate Plus 8. I am a little sad. I know it's silly, but I really enjoyed watching the show for the last 2 years. You can always find me watching a reality TV show, considering tonight I watched Dancing with the Stars and Jon and Kate Plus 8. Oh well, guess I will have to start watching something else on Monday nights at 9...The Bachelor will be on in January!!!!

Back to Jon and Kate Plus 8. How many of you watched the show? As you can tell from the picture below, my favorite was Hannah!! Who was your favorite?!?

ECU Game

Today the University of Alabama at Birmingham came to ECU. It was a really good game, considering the Pirates pulled off the win. As you can tell from the pictures below it was a little chilly!!! I'm getting a little sad because we only have one more game this season, and that's next weekend. What in the world am I going to do on my Saturdays?!? Here are some pics from today.

Me and Allyson Lake
Crystal and Johnathan Twins...No not really, they just look a like.
They hate it when you tell them that!

Last year at this time...

This time last year it was snowing here. Now check out how the weather is here this year...in the 60s and raining!

I love the 60-70 degree weather, but when it's almost Thanksgiving and Christmas...it's supposed to be cold. I am hoping that we do have a good snow day or two this winter!!!

We are the Pirates of ECU!

Last night we headed over to the Beddards to cook out and watch the ECU/Tulsa game. We had hamburgers on the grill with french fries and baked beans. The food was really good, too bad I filled up on chips and dip, like normal. After we ate, it was time to cheer on the Pirates. We must have done a good job, since they won 44-17. Here are a couple of pictures.

The Meeks Family Connor must have had a busy day pulling for the Tar Heels and Pirates!

Sorry I didn't get a picture of Brad and me. He was being a nerd and playing on the computer all night!
Thanks Katie and Bryant for having us over!!
